BEST WINE REFRIGERATOR

If, like growing number of us, you enjoy a glass of wine then you will want to do all that you can to keep your wine at its best. Most wines need to be stored properly to maintain their original aroma and flavour. High temperature or high humidity can greatly alter the wine. If you store your wine at too high a temperature it can mature too quickly and if the temperature is too low then it fails to mature. What is the point of spending good money on a nice bottle of wine only to store it incorrectly and turn it into something completely different!

If you store your wine in a normal kitchen refrigerator the temperature is normally too cold for wine plus the frequent opening and closing of the door causes fluctuations in temperature. You should also store wine horizontally to prevent the corks from drying out and this can limit space in a normal kitchen refrigerator.

The ideal answer would be to invest in one of the new design of wine refrigerators. They come in various sizes so if you only have a small collection you don’t have to spend a fortune on a large refrigerator that you can’t afford to even fill. Red and White wines of course have to be stored at different temperatures and the controls of the wine refrigerator allows you to program the temperature to suit your selection.
This then enables you to store your wine at the optimum temperature and consequently when you open your bottle of wine, the aroma and flavour will be at their best and consequently you will enjoy it more.
